HOW DID YOU START AS FREELANCE DESIGNER?
I was born in Volpiano (a town near Turin, Italy) and I graduated in graphic design and advertising on 2004 at Albe Steiner school in Turin. Since then I worked as graphic designer for several companies and communication agencies. On May 2009 I founded my freelance business Tusei in Chivasso (Italy), where still I live.

WITH WHOM HAVE YOU WORKED AND, WHAT DID YOU DO?
I cooperate with several company and freelancer here in Italy such as: Seriplast Italia print screening company, Winksoft Animation collective, Giordano Armellino Photographer, and Arti Grafiche Chivassesi as graphic designer, with the designer Paolo Callegher as social network consultant. For 4 years I wrote for  Blogosfere blog network, writing for a music blog.

WHY WOULD SOMEONE SHOULD HIRE YOU?
I AM the one who solves problems. I study, disassembly and reassembly until I resolve them. I bypass obstacles that stand between me and the solution, trying to break new ground and pulling off the customer stucked in an enpasse.

WHY WOULD SOMEONE SHOULD WORK WITH YOU?
I respect the work of my co-workers, and I know that my work area is experiencing difficulties caused by economical crisis and speculations. The satisfation of my co-workers (and mine, of course!) is on top of my priorities. A detail you should not overlook is that I’m some kind of nicely guy.

WHAT ABOUT ARE YOU PASSIONATED FOR AT WORK?
I like the typography, I like treating the detail in the design of marks, logos and layouts. I am fascinated by the neutral and minimalist design, with its strong communicative value. I have a passion for research and semiotics: I love to give meaning to each sign I am designing.

WHAT ABOUT ARE YOU PASSIONATED FOR OUT OF WORK?
I like technology, the Internet and the technological discoveries that are uniting people. I’m a fan of social networks I love to attend communities about my work area. I am so updated in the creative area, chatting with a close-knit group of colleagues with whom I share interests. I have an addiction for several television series (specially sci-fi). Finally, of course, I enjoy relaxing with friends.

ATTIVITÀ VOLONTARIE, NON PROFIT?
I love No!Spec campaign which targets to educate creatives and clients to stand more ethical work relationship. I support PETA because I’m an animalist and vegetarian.

DID YOU WIN PRIZES OR COMPETITIONS?
I won on 2003 the first prize for the “Young Humorists Designers” category at national graphic contest “In Vino Veritas” in Siena and I was a finalist  on 2004 edition in Rome for the “Advertising Design” category [Link].

DO YOU HAVE MORE TO SAY?
Everyone must have an image which reflects their personality. I’m offering this.
